You matter.Talking matters

My name is Sarah, and I am a qualified and registered person-centred counsellor.

My pastI have always worked within education which has been a fundamental part of learning to use counselling skills with young adults and children. Working as a private nanny for 7 years also allowed me to develop strong relationships with children and their families. This is where my career as a counsellor began.
CounsellingI hold a Level 4 Diploma in therapeutic counselling from the RNN group. I have completed over 100 client hours, face to face, online and via telephone. Before this, I gained my Level 2 and 3 certificate in counselling skills.I am a member of the BACP register and my membership number is 00981994.
Alongside Talking Matters TherapyAlongside my private practice, I work for a breast cancer charity, in particular supporting younger women. This involves supporting those who have recently been diagnosed, adjust, and adapt to a life-limiting illness. I have a particular interest in supporting younger women and would love to hear from you if you’ve been considering counselling.
EducationI hold a BA (Hons) Degree in Early Years Education Studies and a Level 3 Diploma in Early Years Education, gained from Newman University, Birmingham.
